Loop upgrades the core to Alliedware+
The Loop has upgraded the core Loop switch/routers. The core of the loop was seven year old and needed upgrading to the modern environment. The upgrade will allow the Loop to peer with other networks (e.g. NEN) in a more positive environment. |

The Loop, TPN (Pacific.net) and BIT (IT Dept at NMIT) have worked together to provide a dedicated Internet link to be used by BIT research students at NMIT ... so that they can work in a isolated development environment that will not conflict with other Loop users. |
